So I was playing on You Tube today – I was looking for something humorous and cute to put up. Cuz I love yas! Muwah 
And I came across these emo guys kissing videos. Apparently this is like the cool thing for emo guys to do now. Did you know that? I didn’t know that. I feel weird watching them because I am worried they might not be over 18 or something. So I’m not going to put one up.
But I was so fascinated by this phenomenon that I did a little research: I went to the Emo Corner website. This is what they, as the experts on all things emo, have to say:

They just do it because they can, and they know girls think it’s hot! Boy, are they right, there is just something about it that makes chicks just want to see more. However, sometimes there is a attraction behind the kiss.
So there you have it. They do it cuz chicks dig it. Or they do it cuz they are gay and they dig it. I just didn’t know it was the “hottest thing in the emo scene”, but now I do. On one hand, I think it’s refreshing because some straight girls make out with each other just for the attention of guys. So it’s nice to see these emo boys returning the favor and doing this to impress the girls. On the other hand I think it is kind of lame. But I am also old enough to be some of these kids’ mother, so what do I know?

We didn’t have emos when I was in high school. It just wasn’t the “in” thing. Grunge was still popular back then. We also had Punks, Mods, Skater straight-edge kids with stupid X’s on their hands, metal heads and other people that I can’t remember what they were supposed to be.
i dont get emo kids theyare SO damn disgusting i have no problem with gay dudes or gay girls. whatever . but emo kids.. they listen to crappy music and disgusting hairdos.. here is chile theres a weird “urban style” we called them “pokemons” they are like a mix between emo kids and reguetonneros ( another shitty style) and because theyare really ugly we called them pokemones we were EVEN on perezhilton and in a newspaper in engand! cause the pokemon kids like to dance reggeton and go to parties where they just look to get laid or kiss as many kids as they can for the night. really slutty horny teenagers. i hate those hairdos i never know if theyare girls or boys.

the bad thing..is that here the whole tribu shit is getting a biggass attention , emokids-pokemons-visual-otakus-pelolais,ondulais (rich kids), etc and if you dress like a pokemon or emo then you are pretty much white trash. it’s like there no normal people!!!!
oh also there a tribu called “shupers” (it’s like supers) a mix between indie kids and alternatives and hipster , i dont know i really dont know whats going on over here xD ahahahha i dont belong to any tribu and i love it, but because i went to a private school and im goin to a private university people usually think im pelo lais but i’m glad to say i’m not!!!!! it’s soo stupid, i also heard that in mexico punks and neonazis are killing emo kids! that’s just not good.

Emo kids might be annoying and re-re but I think its crazy they’re being killed for how they choose to dress or what music they listen to. A few months ago over here a young girl was beaten to death by a gang of Ned boys for being a Goth. WTF? It’s sickening.

Emo boys are kissing now? This is news to me. I must be older than I thought! I used to listen to a few emo bands before the term “emo” was really ever even coined & before boys started wearing girls jeans & having man bangs. Nowadays “emo” music is sucko music – imo.

Yeah, a lot of the sXe-ers are definitely way too militant. Luckily, the one I’m with isn’t like that at all & would never force his way of life on anyone else. He doesn’t even mind if I drink, which is a good thing – for me AND him! ha!
Yes, I suppose Fugazi could have fallen into that “emo” category. Ahhh, Fugazi brings back memories of my teen years! I really love/loved Fugzai. My hus-b was a HUGE Minor Threat fan but always disliked Fugazi. Guess they weren’t punk enough for him back then.
